Basic ophthalmological examination for glaucoma
Glaucoma is a serious disease that requires regular monitoring and treatment. Qualified specialists of the OptikMedical Ophthalmological Center conduct a basic ophthalmological examination for glaucoma, which includes:
- visometry;
- refractometry;
- tonometry;
- perimetry;
- biomicroophthalmoscopy with a lens;
- optical coherence tomography of the optic disc (OCT DZN), OCT of the anterior segment of the eye and additional studies as needed;
- doctor’s consultation.
These tests allow ophthalmologists to perform a thorough evaluation of the condition of the visual system and detect any signs of glaucoma. On their basis, ophthalmologists will provide a comprehensive consultation and recommend an appropriate course of treatment.
